The Tourism Board (Fomento del Turismo) of the Island of Ibiza was established as an entity in 1933, and now has a successful 70 years of history behind it.

Nowadays our institution has around 500 members, ranging from hoteliers to representatives from varied social groups, as well as individuals who contribute by financing the operating costs of the institution. Among the ex officio members of the Board of Trustees there are representatives of such institutions as the Consell, City Councils, Balearic Tourism Institute, Inturib, the Chamber of Commerce or PIMEEF, as well as representatives of airlines, travel agencies, cafes, bars, restaurants; shipping companies and consignees, industry, commerce, the fashion sector, and craftsmen.
