Where Ibiza is.
Ibiza is situated just 92 km off the coast of mainland Spain. Its runs a maximum 41 km from North to South and 15 km from East to West. It has a total 170 km of coastline. Apart from its North Coast, known as Es Amunts, that is spiked with cliffs, the majority of its coastline consists of coves and little inlets, with over 56 “à la carte” beaches. Mount Atalay, with a height of 475 metres, is the highest point on Ibiza. The only river on the Balearic Islands is found on Ibiza.
Its Southern location and the influence of Sahara air masses, gives Ibiza a warm and dry climate. The average annual temperature is 21.2ºC maximum and 13.9ºC minimum.
