Cala LLonga, Ibiza It is situated some 10 km from Ibiza and 6 km from Sta. Eulalia.

Cala LLonga, Ibiza How to get there: Take the road from Sta. Eulalia to Ibiza and then take the signposted turning about 11 km to 12 km along the same. You can come from Ibiza, first passing through Jesús.

Access to the cove can also be had on foot from Sta. Eulalia, or by bicycle, car, bus or even by a regular boat service from Sta. Eulalia or from Ibiza.

Description: This cove is set inside a deeply cut inlet facing east. It is surrounded by quite high mountains, giving rise to rugged coastal formations at the ends of the cove.

Length: 180m.

Width: 100m.

Substratum: Natural fine-grained sand.

Bed: This sandy-bedded cove is a safe bathing area given that it does not reach a depth of 1m. until some 25m. from the shore. Not until some 60m. out to sea does the depth reach a level of 2m.

Panoramic features: The charm of the spot is greatly enhanced by the presence of the coniferous woods in the surrounding area and a stream that passes through its sands on its way to meeting the sea.
