Es Codolar, Ibiza How to get there: You take the road that leads to the canal, turning off to the right some 4 km along the way. This turning leads to the salt hills in the direction of the signposted Des Codoloar beach. You can get there by bicycle or car. There is a bus service. However, this leaves you at the turnoff, which means the rest of the way must be covered on foot.

Description: This is a long, open pebbled beach.

Length: 2,900m.

Width: 15m.

Substratum: The entire beach is covered with large pebbles, at one end there are several different types of rocky areas.

Bed: The shores are pebbled, but as it gets just a little deeper there are sandy areas with underwater vegetation. The gradient is greater in the first 25m. from the shore reaching an approximate depth of 1m., while there is only a 0.7m. increase in depth over the next 25m.

Panoramic features: The beach is limited by the Salinas salt mines, which serve to greatly enhance the beauty of the spot. The Cap de Falcó cliffs, which are contiguous to one of the flanks, further add to the attraction of the place.
